Job summary

sstjobs seeks an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, ideally with data center exposure, for a direct-hire role in Phoenix, AZ. Competitive pay ranges from $120,000 to $175,000 annually based on experience, with a 10-15% year-end bonus and a $14,400 annual vehicle allowance.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match of 6% plus more. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Proficient in MS Office, Prolog, CMIC, Primavera.
• Understanding of building processes and systems.
• Experience with cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience managing multiple complex electrical construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years PM experience in electrical commercial construction.
• Connectivity knowledge/experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor project team members (PEs, SEs, Superintendents, coordinators).
• Ensure 100% detailed, hands-on knowledge of project scope.
• Control costs, billings, and collections on the project.
• Serve as primary contact with owner and architect.
• Oversee on-site and self-perform work teams.
• Drive project completion, financials, and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $120K to 175K annually based on experience level

Responsibilities for Electrical Project Manager:

• Management of all project team members (Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinators).
• Mentor, develop, and train team members for fast-paced growth.
• 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
• Cost control, billings, and collections for assigned project.
• Act as the key point of contact with owner and architect.
• Challenge and support jobsite as well as self-perform work teams.
• Accountability for project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results.

Requirements for Electrical Project Manager:

• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting cost management software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).
• Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.
• Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with running multiple complex, highly technical projects preferably within core markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Project Management within Electrical Commercial Construction.
• Connectivity knowledge/experience required
