Job summary

gpac is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead data center construction in Phoenix, AZ. You will own the electrical scope, budget, schedule, and overall delivery, guiding the project team from planning through closeout on mission-critical facilities.

The ideal candidate has proven PM experience with an electrical contractor on large-scale builds, strong leadership and communication, and data center project experience.

Responsibilities

• Own scope, budget, schedule, and overall delivery of the electrical project.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and upcoming work with field leadership.
• Procure, manage subcontractors, change orders, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate with GC and other trades to keep work moving.
• Identify risks, propose solutions, and oversee commissioning and closeout.
• Build relationships with clients, field teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Electrical Project Manager – Data Center Construction

Locations: Phoenix, AZ

Compensation: Up to $225,000, depending on experience

An established electrical contractor is seeking experienced Project Managers to lead electrical construction on large data center and mission-critical projects. This opportunity is for someone who can take ownership of a complex electrical scope, lead the project team, and deliver work from planning through closeout.

We are especially interested in candidates who have built a strong career in electrical construction and can point to projects they successfully completed. Data center experience is preferred; experience delivering other complex mission-critical facilities will also be considered.

What you’ll do

• Own the electrical project scope, budget, schedule, and overall delivery.
• Partner with field leadership to plan manpower, materials, equipment, and upcoming work.
• Manage procurement, subcontractors, change orders, cost tracking, and project reporting.
• Coordinate with the general contractor and other trades to resolve issues and keep work moving.
• Identify risks early, communicate solutions, and maintain accountability through commissioning and closeout.
• Build productive relationships with clients, field teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
