Operations

Electrical Project Managers report to a Division Manager and are responsible for managing, performing, and completing assigned projects according to company policies and procedures. Ideal candidates should have in-depth knowledge of electrical systems installation, alterations, additions, repairs, conductors, and related materials within the commercial construction industry. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Successful in previous positions

  • Electrical license preferred but not required

Minimum Requirements

The candidate should possess the physical fitness and visual acuity necessary for tasks such as surveying electrical rooms, climbing ladders, walking rooftops, opening panels, and reading equipment data. Must monitor and adhere to company policies including safety, quality assurance, hazard communication, substance abuse, and others. Responsible for verifying paperwork, meeting schedules, and maintaining safety standards.

Engineering

  • Monitor profit/loss of projects
  • Control job processing and estimating
  • Assign estimators, review estimates, and approve within limits
  • Prepare bids and re-estimates
  • Order and verify materials
  • Handle change orders and revisions
  • Ensure project completion

Production

  • Monitor safety, storage, productivity, and personnel management
  • Manage fleet and equipment

Experience

  • Success in previous roles

Licenses and Certifications

Current driver’s license if required; relevant federal, state, and local licenses and certifications as needed.

Education

High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent training.
