Job summary

Project Talent Partners is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee projects, manage financial performance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires reading drawings, NEC knowledge, and coordinating with subs, vendors, and field teams.

You will lead kickoff meetings, maintain records, prepare cost forecasts, issue purchase orders, and submit change orders using Accubid. A strong background in electrical systems and commercial/industrial projects is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Electrical Project Management experience.
• Industrial experience preferred; heavy commercial experience also considered.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and common trade procedures.
• Experience with line and low voltage controls.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Bluebeam, Accubid, PlanGrid, ACC, and Procore.
• Ability to use an iPad/tablet.
• Reliable transportation or company vehicle if assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financial performance and mitigate risk.
• Prepare and maintain project financial reports.
• Forecast project costs and manpower.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, drawings, correspondence, and change orders.
• Issue purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Price and submit change orders using Accubid.
• Coordinate estimating/preconstruction as needed.
• Maintain project records on the company server.
• Develop relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and close-out reviews.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with field teams and other departments.
