Job summary

Helix Electric, a leading electrical contracting company founded in 1985, seeks a Project Manager to plan, manage, and direct all assigned projects. You will build strong project teams, ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget, and coordinate with customers and subcontractors to meet expectations.

You will drive profitability by effective execution, oversee scheduling, procurement, and contracts, and mentor a team of about 3 direct and 10 total reports.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of project management experience in electrical commercial/mixed-use construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical power engineering.
• Field experience coordinating with construction management.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects.
• Proven ability to run a profitable portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead project management teams to deliver on time and within budget.
• Drive division profitability through effective project execution.
• Manage scheduling, procurement, and contract requirements for each project.
• Oversee a team of ~3 direct and ~10 total reports.
• Proactively communicate challenges, risks and successes with stakeholders.
• Oversee invoicing per project terms and negotiate change orders.
