Helix Electric Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead project teams responsible for planning, directing, and delivering electrical construction projects. You will manage scope, budgets, timelines, and profitability while coordinating with clients, designers, and field crews.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to drive safety culture and compliance across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 7-10 years of project management experience in electrical construction.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles and applications.
• Field experience coordinating with construction management teams.
• Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and win projects.
• Proven ability to run a profitable portfolio.
• Strong initiative, execution, and communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong analytical, motivational, and leadership skills.
• Electrical Engineering or Construction Management degree strongly preferred.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician's license a plus.
• Solid understanding of safety requirements on construction projects.
• Design-build experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build strong teams for each project while delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing scope, on-time delivery, and budget.
• Drive profitability through effective project execution.
• Lead project technical and schedule goals, contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning.
• Evaluate and continually improve systems to meet customer requirements and profitability goals.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a group of direct and indirect team members.
• Review overall contractual requirements and design methodologies for projects.
• Ensure schedule requirements are met; adjust priorities as needed.
• Interact with customers to validate expectations before, during, and after project completion.
• Oversee subcontractors to meet project requirements and negotiate change orders.
