Qualifications

• 3+ years of project engineer experience in heavy commercial/private electrical construction.
• Understanding of electric power engineering and field coordination with construction management.
• Experience with scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders and contracts.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and support profitable project portfolios.
• Strong initiative, execution and communication skills, oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager on projects and liaise between field and office.
• Define project objectives by planning, executing and finalizing projects on schedule and within budget.
• Support senior project management and coordinate with Site Superintendent(s) to assess installation methods and labor needs.
• Manage monthly invoicing and change orders; oversee project review and financial forecasting.
• Ensure high-quality engineering, studies and project delivery; communicate risks and successes.
