Southern Industrial is looking for an Project Manager to work out of our Raleigh, NC office. Must have 5 - 10 years of electrical industrial construction experience.

Essential Functions/Duties:

1. Work closely with clients, project management, and supervision to prepare, plan, develop, and oversee site projects, establish priorities, and assign resources or capital.
2. Responsible for all aspects of cost management, including estimating, funding, budgeting, forecasting, controlling, and reporting.
3. Utilize extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts to identify and process scope changes, address issues, and communicate project milestones.
4. Develop relationships to identify and cultivate new opportunities.
5. Plan and schedule resources to meet project demands.
6. Devise new approaches to problems and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs, ensuring compliance with codes and engineering practices.
7. Ensure all equipment, tools, and employees assigned to projects operate in accordance with SIC policies, regulations, and customer requirements.
8. Monitor the execution of SIC safety programs and the performance of work by staff and vendors, promoting a safety-first mentality.
9. Provide regular project status updates to senior management.
10. Travel to job sites regularly to oversee projects.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, power, chemical markets managing complex projects up to $1M.
• 10-15 years of client relationship and business development experience, including leading bid preparations with a successful record.
• Proven success in team leadership, process adherence, ownership, learning agility, and risk management.
• Strategic planning skills with ability to build relationships.
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
