Job Title: Electrical Project Manager - Industrial
Salary: $90,000 - $160,000
Purpose
As an Industrial Electrical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects. Working under the direction of the Divisional Director, you will be a key leader in managing and growing our field personnel. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Construction Managers and serve as the on-site point of contact during each construction phase. Your focus will be on proper site procedures, safety practices, expense management, and daily project reporting to ensure the delivery of quality work in a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Own all job site activities and personnel, including planning, material and equipment management, process execution, and safety.
- Oversee and report daily progress to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
- Interpret and manage construction activities based on standards, drawings, and documentation.
- Lead benchmarking, shareholder review, and approval activities based on installation standards.
- Coordinate project activities such as planning, scheduling, cost management, change orders, procurement, and customer relations.
- Conduct daily tailgate meetings to discuss hazards, JHA completion, and best practices.
- Uphold safety policies and document safety incidents.
- Coach and mentor employees, providing performance feedback.
- Develop and implement project procedures, schedules, and standards.
- Provide technical assistance, including interpretation of drawings and material specifications.
- Review employees' time and expenses for accuracy and accountability.
- Manage crew efficiency and task-based time assessments.
- Communicate conflicts or issues affecting the schedule.
- Lead by example and work alongside field technicians when needed.
- Build and manage a weekly schedule with a 3-week forecast.
- Adhere to local labor laws and journeyman to apprentice ratios.
- Represent the company on-site, interacting with inspectors, customers, landowners, OSHA, etc.
- Assist in engineering constructability, design, review, and planning.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience/education.
- Experience with electrical construction projects.
- Ability to manage field personnel and subcontractors to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Experience with on-site training for field personnel.
- Effective communication skills across all management levels and clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel extensively (40-50%), including overnight stays.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug and background screenings.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and work long periods.
- Work in extreme weather conditions.
