Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead heavy industrial electrical construction projects, including midstream and power generation facilities, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget and safety.

This role requires 4–7+ years of PM experience, travel up to 50%, and coordination across engineering, procurement, and field teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of experience in construction project management
• Experience with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Unifier)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cost tracking/estimating systems

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through estimating, bidding, execution, and closeout phases
• Manage industrial electrical, inside wiring, and energy infrastructure scopes
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field operations to ensure successful execution
• Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Track and manage project costs, forecasts, schedules, and performance metrics
• Promote Michels' safety-first culture across all project activities
• Lead project closeout, commissioning coordination, startup support, energization, and turnover
