Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager who will lead complex electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with healthcare-specific standards and codes. This key leadership role requires deep expertise in hospital MEP systems, OSHPD/AHCA requirements, and coordination with stakeholders in high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of electrical construction for healthcare and hospital projects.
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, architects, and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including NFPA 99, NEC, ASHE, and AHCA.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Direct field teams and subcontractors, enforcing safety and quality control standards.
• Review and interpret electrical plans and specifications, with a focus on hospital systems such as emergency power, nurse call, fire alarm, and medical gas interfaces.
• Conduct site inspections and manage commissioning and turnover processes.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and field staff.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients on electrical scope.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7–10 years of electrical project management experience, with at least 5 years in healthcare/hospital construction.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems in healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with hospital-specific codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, ASHE, AHCA/OSHPD).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
