Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a top electrical construction client in the San Antonio market. This candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of commercial electrical construction projects from award through closeout, ensuring profitability and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in budgeting, labor forecasting, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across owners, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical service or construction project management.
• Experience managing full project lifecycle, including: project handoffs, labor forecasting, material takeoffs, budgeting, and closeout.
• Ability to manage 3-4 projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience overseeing projects ranging from 8 months to 2 years in duration.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, service work, and construction site operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle electrical construction projects from award through closeout.
• Transition projects from estimating to construction execution.
• Develop project schedules and execution plans.
• Coordinate procurement activities and material acquisition.
• Track project budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Analyze opportunities to increase project revenue and profitability.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor labor forecasts and workforce allocation.
• Manage project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and project reporting.
• Estimate cost-to-complete throughout project lifecycle.
• Oversee project closeout and warranty processes.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining performance and financial targets.
• Support business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
