Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Next generation electronics team and provide detailed electrical cost estimates for commercial construction projects. You will analyze drawings and specs, price materials, evaluate subcontractor quotes, and maintain cost databases to ensure accurate bids.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (relevant experience may substitute).
• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, preferably in commercial construction.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Trimble Accubid v16 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate labor and material estimates by analyzing project drawings and specifications.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitive bids.
• Price equipment and maintain up-to-date cost databases for ongoing projects.
