Responsibilities

• Implements Manhattan safety policies and procedures.
• Directs and mentors on-site staff on assigned projects.
• Approves subcontractor interactions and purchase orders.
• Manages preconstruction processes with Owners and subcontractors.
• Oversees job cost budget setup and value of schedule.
• Reviews SOV, pay apps, and change orders for owner relations.

POSITIONSUMMARY:

The ElectricalProject Managermanages the overall projectdirection, completion and financial outcome for assigned projects. Responsiblefor directing and mentoring on-site staff. The position requires businessmanagement acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational andtime management skills, as well as strong communication and client serviceskills.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Practices implementation of Operation Zero and all Manhattan safety policies
• All qualities/responsibilities of a Project Manager 2, plus:
• Approves Submission of Change Order Requests to Owners
• Develops and manages Owner relationships.
• Review/ Approve Language of Trade Contracts
• Approves Subcontracts and Purchase Orders
• Manages the preconstruction process with Owners.
• Chairs the Preconstruction meetings with subcontractors
• Oversee Job Cost Budget Setup
• Review and Ensure Accuracy of Owner SOV/ Pay Apps
• Manage Accounting Functions and Budget
• Prepares the Schedule of Values or cost loading of the schedule
• Participate in the Change Management Process
• Management of Change Management Process
• Manages Field Accounting Procedures (Drafts, Timesheets, Hiring Practices, Certified Payroll)
