Job summary

SLS Consultants LLC in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical infrastructure for a hyperscale data center campus. The role requires a strong field leader who can coordinate installation through energization and turnover in a fast-paced construction environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of electrical PM experience, data center or mission-critical project exposure, and deep knowledge of medium- and low-voltage systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
• Experience supporting data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Knowledge of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and workstreams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction activities from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Manage electrical contractors to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Oversee installation of critical electrical infrastructure including substations, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, busway, and distribution equipment.
• Drive project execution through planning, forecasting, risk mitigation, and schedule management.
• Coordinate with design teams, commissioning teams, operations groups, and construction partners.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and construction documents.
• Lead contractor accountability meetings and progress reviews.
• Support energization planning, startup activities, and integrated systems testing.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and construction standards.
• Provide regular project reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.
