Job summary

SLS Consultants LLC in Tulsa, OK seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical construction on a hyperscale data center campus. You will oversee subsystems and coordinate with design, commissioning, operations, and construction partners through energization and turnover.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in electrical construction PM, strong MV/LV knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple contractors while maintaining safety, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
• Experience supporting data centers, mission-critical facilities, advanced manufacturing, or large commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple contractors and workstreams on complex projects.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction activities from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Manage electrical contractors to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Oversee installation of critical electrical infrastructure including substations, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, busway, and distribution equipment.
• Drive project execution through planning, forecasting, risk mitigation, and schedule management.
• Coordinate with design teams, commissioning teams, operations groups, and construction partners.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and construction documents.
• Lead contractor accountability meetings and progress reviews.
• Support energization planning, startup activities, and integrated systems testing.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and construction standards.
• Provide regular project reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.
