Job summary

347 Group, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Manager in the Salt Lake County area to oversee telecom and power projects through completion. The role emphasizes accurate planning, budgeting, and coordinating with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities include leading project meetings, maintaining project records, and ensuring timelines and commitments are met. 2–5 years in utility/electrical PM and experience with traffic signals, street lighting, or EV charging stations are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of project management experience in the utility/electrical industry.
• Experience with traffic signal, street lighting, EV charging stations.
• Excellent customer service and interaction skills.
• Knowledge of public and private right of ways including permitting processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage accurate project plans, scopes of work, and budgets.
• Maintain project data in the company tracking system.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet deadlines and customer commitments.
• Lead meetings reviewing status with leadership and team members.
• Attend customer meetings and manage project closeout files.

We have an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager in the Salt Lake County area. This individual will be directly responsible for managing multiple telecom and power projects through completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience with the development of accurate project plan, scope of work and managing budget
• Responsible for maintaining accurate job information in company project tracking system
• Excellent communication and coordinating skills with internal departments as needed to ensure project deadlines and customer commitments are met
• Ability to lead meetings reviewing the status of the project and project needs with leadership and team members
• Available to attend customer meetings
• Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete files for projects and its closeout
• Ability to work overtime

Experience and Education

• 2-5 years of Project Management experience in the utility/electrical industry
• Experience with traffic signal, street lighting, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations
• Excellent customer service and interaction skills
• Knowledge and understanding of Public and Private right of ways including the permitting process
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite to include Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to work overtime
