Job summary

Legence is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the electrical construction team, focusing on healthcare facilities in the DMV area. You will oversee estimates, project setup, and full-cycle management while ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with NEC standards.

You will report to the Electrical Division Manager and coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets, and uphold safety and quality across all stages of each project.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on healthcare electrical construction projects is required.
  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience in electrical construction (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Estimate, secure, and manage electrical projects in the commercial and healthcare construction sectors.
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, from setup through completion, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
  • Manage design-build projects in compliance with NEC standards and electrical codes.
  • Supervise and coordinate project activities, including labor, materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Select and manage subcontractors using standard agreements.
  • Conduct job site surveys, perform inspections, and attend project meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical, safety, and environmental codes.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, warranty issues, and client needs.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, injury-free work environment.
  • Manage project budgets, progress billings, change orders, and support payment processes.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $85,000-$115,000. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.
