Job summary

Zoom Hire Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical commercial construction and engineering projects from planning through completion in Monroe, North Carolina. The role requires coordinating scope, budgets, schedules, contractors, vendors, and field execution to deliver safe, on-time, and within-budget results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience managing electrical projects, electrical construction, industrial projects, or facility projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, controls, power distribution, and electrical construction practices.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and vendors.
  • Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and applicable electrical codes and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar project/design software.
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments and visit active project sites as required.

  • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, startup, and final project acceptance.
  • Troubleshoot project issues and work with engineering and field teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, schedules, reports, change orders, and closeout documents.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and applicable regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical systems, reliability, safety, energy efficiency, and operational performance.
