Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects including budgeting, estimating (when required), and scheduling. Participate in design and assist with budgeting activities as needed.
- Review and understand contract scope, provisions, and notices.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to plan and manage material procurement, equipment rental, and subcontractor contracting.
- Ensure safety training and practices are consistently implemented in the field.
- Identify and recommend value engineering and value-adding ideas to maximize project value.
- Monitor project performance regarding quality, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to adjust schedules and resources to meet project goals.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including daily logs and submittals.
- Prepare for and lead monthly project status meetings.
- Perform monthly forecast-to-complete processes for project tracking and control.
- Track work progress, earned value, and manage monthly billing to ensure cash flow.
- Manage scope changes, including pricing, submission, and approval of change orders.
- Regularly communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and monitor ongoing risks.
- Manage conflicts and crises effectively and constructively.
- Ensure timely and complete project close-out, addressing all loose ends.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical construction project management.
- Preferably 5+ years in a supervisory role within an electrical contracting environment.
- Experience with large commercial and industrial projects.
- Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship is preferred.
- Estimating experience is a plus.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Ability to visit entire job sites, standing, walking, and endurance.
- Work hours exceeding 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week as needed.
- Ability to climb ladders and steps; stand, balance, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to wet or humid conditions at job sites.
- Ability to travel as required.
