Position Overview

The Low Voltage / Electrical Project Manager leads, directs, and coordinates the day-to-day management of electrical projects in Louisville, KY. This role reports to the Senior Project Manager or Project Executive and requires a minimum of ten years of related experience, a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead development of high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring.
  2. Manage and develop assigned staff to maximize performance and career growth.
  3. Develop and foster client relationships, establishing a trusted advisor status.
  4. Understand and administer Turner’s contract and subcontract agreements.
  5. Provide leadership to influence positive change and promote community involvement.
  6. Foster relationships with architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
  7. Establish and communicate the Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.
  8. Manage project budget, financial reporting, and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  9. Oversee QA/QC programs and drive safety protocols enforcement.
  10. Lead risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions.
  11. Ensure compliance with Turner’s business ethics and compliance programs.
  12. Manage field operations, engineering processes, and procedures.
  13. Coordinate with finance for timely payment processing.
  14. Provide regular updates on project progress and budget during Operations Review Meetings.
  15. Promote utilization of innovative technologies and initiatives supporting Turner’s competitive advantages.
  16. Foster an inclusive environment emphasizing diversity and inclusion.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree plus at least ten years of related experience, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles. Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and advanced presentation abilities. Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications. Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.

Physical & Work Environment

Must be physically capable of climbing stairs, ladders, and working in construction sites with exposure to noise, mechanical hazards, and outdoor conditions. Reasonable accommodations can be provided for disabilities.

The work is primarily on-site at construction sites, with associated risks and environmental conditions.
