Job summary

gpac is recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager to join an established local electrical contractor focused on commercial and industrial projects in the Houston area. You will own projects from contract through completion and ensure safety, quality, and profitability.

The role emphasizes managing budgets, schedules, and coordination with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and field teams to deliver on-time, on-budget results in a local market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience as Electrical Project Manager.
• Strong commercial/industrial electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Safety-conscious with focus on on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and profitability.
• Review plans, specs, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Work with Superintendents and Foremen to stay on schedule.

• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for a Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from contract through completion.
