Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale data center and healthcare facility projects from design through commissioning. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional client management, and a proven track record delivering complex electrical infrastructure with uptime and reliability as top priorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical project management experience.
• Experience managing healthcare facilities, mission-critical data centers, or both.
• Proven success leading projects exceeding $10M in construction value.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, redundancy strategies (N+1, 2N, 2N+1), and critical infrastructure.
• Experience creating and executing MOPs.
• Strong client-facing, leadership, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
• Experience with healthcare electrical systems and emergency power.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from planning through construction and commissioning.
• Serve as the primary client contact.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Lead internal teams, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee medium- and low-voltage distribution, UPS, generators, emergency power, grounding, and lighting systems.
• Develop and execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and outage plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Manage project forecasting, change orders, invoicing, and profitability.
• Conduct quality reviews, risk assessments, and design reviews.
• Support business development and mentor junior staff.

Compensation & Schedule

• Relocation assistance available.
• Must be able to relocate to the New Jersey area and work onsite five days per week.
• Typical hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with flexibility based on project needs.
