Job summary

Vertex Integration Partners in Chicago is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction to closeout. You will collaborate with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires 4+ years in electrical construction and proven leadership in project management. You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and change orders, while maintaining strong client and team

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in electrical construction.
• Experience as Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of commercial/industrial electrical systems.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and change orders.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Experience with large-scale commercial/industrial healthcare or data center projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, forecasting, procurement, and cost control.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to drive project execution.
• Maintain communication with clients, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor financial performance and identify risks or cost impacts.
• Assist with manpower planning, material procurement, and project strategy.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on schedule, budget, and progress.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

We are partnering with a well-established electrical contractor in the Chicago area that is looking to add an experienced Electrical Project Manager to its team.

This individual will be responsible for managing electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion, working closely with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
