Job summary

Tiello LLC, in the Charleston/Columbia, SC area, seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The role serves as the main client contact, directing planning, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, and execution with a focus on safety, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction throughout each phase.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Electrical Project Management experience.
• Commercial Electrical Construction experience required.
• Estimating experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including AutoCAD a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasting to ensure successful completion.
• Prepare and oversee project estimates and participate in turnover meetings.
• Plan and optimize resources to maintain project timelines.
• Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Lead projects with safety and OSHA compliance in mind.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Equipment, HR, Finance, and AP.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, subs, and customers.
• Set goals and provide leadership to Superintendents.
• Manage change orders and resolve customer concerns, including closeout procedures.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Electrical Contractor in the Charleston / Columbia, SC area on their search for an Electrical Project Manager for industrial electrical construction projects.

The Electrical Project Manager will serve as the company's primary point of contact with clients while leading electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, and execution while ensuring safety, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction throughout each phase of the project.

• Oversee and direct project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasting to ensure successful project completion.
• Prepare and oversee project estimates and participate in project turnover meetings.
• Plan, schedule, and optimize project resources to maintain project timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Lead projects with a strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Purchasing, Equipment, HR, Finance, and Accounts Payable.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Set goals and provide leadership and coaching to Superintendents.
• Manage change orders, negotiate and resolve customer concerns, and oversee project closeout procedures.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of Electrical Project Management experience.
• Commercial Electrical Construction experience required.
• Technical degree or equivalent industry experience preferred, but not required.
• Previous estimating experience or familiarity with estimating preferred.
• Strong computer skills (AutoCAD experience is a plus).
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational, budgeting, and project management abilities.
