Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Executive- Electrical in Sterling Heights, MI. This leadership role commands full ownership of major electrical construction projects from preconstruction through delivery, coordinating PMs, field teams, and subcontractors to meet scope, budget, and schedule.

You will steer financial performance, cultivate client relationships, and drive safety and quality standards across complex facilities. A strong electrical background and senior leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive electrical construction leadership on large or complex projects.
• Experience leading project management and field teams through all construction phases.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and change management capabilities.
• Experience managing contracts, procurement, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project execution, aligning PM and field ops with contracts, budgets, schedules, and quality.
• Oversee PMs, Superintendents, and field leadership with clear accountability.
• Collaborate with estimating/preconstruction on scope reviews, budgets, procurement, staffing, turnover.
• Manage financial performance: forecasting, cost control, billing, cash flow, change orders, profitability.
• Serve as senior liaison for owners, GC, CM, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and resolve scheduling, manpower, material, equipment, and coordination issues.
• Coordinate electrical installation with other trades and support constructability reviews and site logistics.
• Set and reinforce expectations for safety, quality, and compliance.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor performance, including long-lead procurement and delivery.
• Guide testing, commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.
• Mentor project leaders and strengthen processes for consistent delivery.
