Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. is seeking a Project Electrical Engineer III to lead electrical engineering tasks within project teams, ensuring deliverables align with budgets and schedules while interacting directly with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• 8–10 years of professional experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or Revit.
• Experience with Arc Flash software such as eTap or SKM.
• Extensive NEC knowledge.
• Ability to balance multiple assignments across projects.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Process-oriented with strong organizational and technical skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow directives.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team to develop and complete assigned engineering projects within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with clients and project team; prepare reports, technical specifications, drawings, and permit submittals.
• Balance multiple tasks across projects; manage RFIs, submittals, and contract modifications.
• Analyze processes to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to troubleshoot problems and coordinate with other departments.
• Participate in site visits and agency/municipal meetings as needed.
