Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program
• PE license in Florida or ability to obtain within 12 months
• 4–7 years of progressive electrical engineering experience
• Experience designing electrical systems for water/wastewater facilities
• Familiarity with process instrumentation and controls systems
• Experience with power system studies using SKMPowerTools, ETAP, or similar tools

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise in electrical and controls engineering challenges.
• Design electrical power distribution, instrumentation, controls, and SCADA systems for water and wastewater facilities and related infrastructure.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates through design phases.
• Perform power system studies including short-circuit and load flow analyses.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions.
• Support construction through RFIs, submittals, and field observations.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical excellence.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and client relationship management.
