Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and oversee electrical systems for water projects in Tampa, FL. You’ll engage with clients, coordinate with utilities, and guide startup and testing of major equipment.

The role includes leading project schedules, budgets, and staffing within the Water Solution team, with hybrid work options after 90 days. A PE licensure and 5+ years in the field are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• Holds active engineering registration or licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers.
• Develop solutions for complex electrical design problems for client facilities.
• Coordinate with local utilities on project technical requirements.
• Oversee construction inspection and resolution of electrical issues.
• Lead startups and testing of major electrical equipment.
• Direct project schedules, budgets, and staffing for Water Solution projects.
