Job summary

AE2S is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in Fargo, ND to design electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities and municipal projects, collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

You will contribute to power distribution, lighting, instrumentation and controls, and SCADA systems while growing technical judgment and leadership. Some travel and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with design experience for water/wastewater facilities.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for project/client responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional electrical engineering services for planning, studies, design, bidding and construction administration.
• Manage performance of assigned project team members.
• Maintain client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
• Develop budgets and schedules for project assignments.
• Quality control and quality assurance on project work.
• Coordinate and attend internal and external meetings.
• Support business development and growth in electrical design scope.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
