Project Electrical Engineer – Municipal Water/Wastewater

We are seeking a Project Electrical Engineer to join our Water Business Unit in North Carolina, with flexible location options including Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, Asheville, Greenville SC, or Atlanta, GA.

Job Summary

The Project Electrical Engineer will develop and execute engineering projects in municipal water and wastewater sectors, including treatment plants, pump stations, and related infrastructure. The role involves collaboration with project managers, ensuring projects are completed within budget and schedule.

Your Day-to-day Will Include

• Providing technical and design services for power systems in municipal water/wastewater facilities.
• Conducting evaluations of electrical and control systems, and preparing design assessments.
• Completing electrical design tasks on time and within budget.
• Communicating technical evaluations and designs with team members and clients.
• Staying current with relevant standards and regulations.
• Supporting construction activities, including shop review and RFI responses.
• Participating in project meetings and client interactions.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• NC PE License or ability to acquire quickly.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with design-build and other delivery methods.
• Strong technical skills and interest in technology.
• Effective communication and self-motivation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
