Farnsworth Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in one of the following locations. In this role, qualified candidates would lead the day-to-day production of industrial, oil & gas, and other technically complex projects.

Job Activities:
- Manage multiple projects involving full electrical design, including Power distribution, Lighting, Telecommunications, Controls, Renewable Energy Systems, and electrical MV systems for industrial and oil & gas markets.
- Engage in and assume responsibility for:
- Code research and application
- Fieldwork to determine existing conditions
- Preliminary schematics through final designs
- Calculations
- Equipment specification, sizing, and layout
- Coordination with other team members
- Preparation of electrical system construction drawings and specifications
- Submittal review and construction administration
- Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors; maintain project budgets and schedules while ensuring quality.
- Mentor engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Report to an engineering manager who provides mentoring and professional development opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Electrical engineer with 8-15 years of experience in complex system design.
- BS in Electrical Engineering; PE license required.
- Experience with industrial power distribution, controls, and MV systems.
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Problem-solving skills in power engineering.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with client immunization requirements.
- Willingness to travel to client sites.
- NCEES Record holder preferred.
- Knowledge of Navisworks, SKM PowerTools, or ETap preferred.

Salary Range: $96,000 - $130,000, based on experience and qualifications.
