Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our MEP practice in San Antonio, bridging deep technical expertise with project leadership to ensure quality and client satisfaction.

You will develop electrical designs, supervise engineers and technicians, manage budgets, and coordinate with architects and contractors. A PE license and 5+ years of experience are preferred, with a focus on delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical projects.
• Proven experience in planning, estimating, scheduling and monitoring engineering projects.
• Experience in project management roles with delivery focus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of construction management, QA/QC, safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the execution of electrical engineering projects, ensuring quality, schedules, and budgets.
• Plan, develop, and direct projects or programs, collaborating with Project Managers.
• Lead teams and supervise engineers, technicians, and sub-consultants.
• Provide technical oversight and leadership in client and project meetings; support business development.
• Prepare designs, calculations, and shop drawings; assist with cost estimates.
