Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) in San Antonio, TX, to lead electrical systems design for a variety of projects. An active Texas PE license and extensive experience are required.

You will design, analyze, and document electrical systems, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers. The position offers growth and ownership opportunities within Halff's MEP team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET‑accredited).
• Texas PE license required; senior role may require 10 years of experience in electrical systems design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify electrical systems to meet project requirements and client specifications.
• Prepare detailed electrical designs, schematics, calculations, and construction documents.
• Perform feasibility studies and analyses to support project planning.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement design improvements.
• Manage or support projects from conception through completion within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver integrated designs.
• Produce complete electrical construction documents for commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects.
• Provide senior technical review and mentorship for junior engineers.
