Job summary

Cache Valley Electric Co. is seeking a Project Engineer in Roy, Utah to support planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, field leadership, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in accordance with project specs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–2 years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in construction, commercial construction, industrial, or heavy civil.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination from preconstruction through closeout.
• Maintain and organize project documentation (drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, schedules).
• Prepare and coordinate RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
• Assist with project scheduling, milestone tracking, procurement timelines, and deliverable coordination.
• Coordinate material and equipment procurement with vendors and internal teams.
• Support budget tracking, cost reporting, and change order documentation.
• Collaborate with field personnel to resolve design conflicts and ensure smooth installation.
• Review drawings and specs to identify discrepancies and improvements.
