Job summary

Cache Valley Electric Company in the Salt Lake City area seeks a project coordination specialist to support electrical construction, prefabrication, and VDC processes. You will coordinate schedules, BIM, and field dates, and host meetings with project teams.

You will collaborate with field leadership, review drawings, maintain 3D models, and ensure deliverables meet standards. You will be on-site weekly to receive feedback and contribute to lean initiatives while training others in digital tools.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrical license is required.
• Experience with VDC tools and processes.
• Background in electrical contracting on large-scale projects.
• Ability to learn software and lean processes.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules and field date changes.
• Plan BIM and Construction Schedules with project teams.
• Prepare and host internal project meetings.
• Maintain 3D models and deliverables with VDC team.
• Assist with prefab planning from initial planning to installation.
• QC and coordinate prefab items weekly.
• Provide training on digital tools and VDC processes.
• On-site weekly to gather feedback from install teams.
• Create work packages and manage material take-offs.
