Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join a well‑established MEP firm. You will lead electrical design efforts across commercial sectors, coordinate with clients and partners, and ensure projects meet NEC/IBC/LEED standards while controlling budget and schedule.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in electrical engineering with 5+ years of design and project-management experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years designing electrical systems for commercial construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in project management, handling multiple projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with NEC, IBC, LEED and other codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee various projects, sometimes managing multiple simultaneously.
• Engage in client meetings to discuss progress and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet design specs.
• Coordinate with utility companies for service needs and perform code research.
• Manage office resources to meet project goals on time and within budget.
• Conduct quality control and peer reviews to maintain high design standards.
