Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. in Ohio, seeks an accountable Project Engineer to lead electrical and multidisciplinary efforts from conception to completion.

You will design control systems, select components, prototype, test, and ensure compliance with industry standards while coordinating with clients and internal teams. This role requires living in the greater Brookfield area and a strong background in electrical engineering.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years in electrical equipment manufacturing.
• Experience with NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, EPLAN, and electrical design tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to pass background and physical checks.
• Residence in greater Brookfield area.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical/control systems and schematics for power distribution.
• Select components and generate BOMs for panels and drives.
• Prototype, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Plan projects and coordinate with engineers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE and safety guidelines.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems.
• Monitor project progress and report status.
