Job summary

Bonneville Contracting and Technology Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support planning, estimation, and delivery of complex electrical infrastructure projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure environments in Puerto Rico and nearby territories.

The role bridges engineering design and field execution, coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Experience in estimating, project execution, and field coordination.
Familiarity with power distribution, switchgear, lighting, generators, and UPS.
Exposure to low-voltage systems: fire alarm, access control, telecom.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and scopes of work for electrical projects.
Review construction drawings and coordinate with field teams, subs, and clients.
Oversee installations and troubleshoot technical challenges.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Lead project teams of up to fifteen personnel and coordinate onsite.
Support integration of lighting controls, grounding, and low‑voltage infrastructure.
