IEG, a MOREgroup brand, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join the MEP team in Texas. The ideal candidate will hold a Texas PE license and lead electrical design from concept through construction, ensuring quality and compliance across projects.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 5–7 years of relevant experience, with Revit proficiency. The role offers hybrid work in Houston or Dallas–Fort Worth and opportunities to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
• Experience designing electrical systems in MEP/AEC projects
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the electrical engineer of record on assigned projects.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine design standards and best practices.
• Perform final QA/QC reviews of electrical construction documents.
• Develop and edit electrical specifications based on project requirements.
• Mentor electrical designers and project managers; support department meetings.
