EEA Consulting Engineers seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design for a variety of building projects in Austin, Texas. The role includes managing project schedules, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree and a Texas Professional Engineer license, with strong project management and communication skills to collaborate with architects and other engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Texas Professional Engineer license required.
• Experience in MEP electrical design and project management.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for building projects including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Manage multiple projects’ scope, schedules, budgets, and teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to integrate electrical systems.
• Prepare bid summaries, project budgets, and cost estimates; monitor financial performance.
