Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Madison seeks an Electrical Senior Project Engineer to lead the design of power distribution and lighting for high-performance facilities.

You will build client relationships, direct the design process, and mentor project teams to deliver innovative solutions. The role demands ABET-accredited engineering credentials, 15+ years in building systems design, and PE registration.

Qualifications

• BSEE/BSAE (ABET accredited) or similar engineering degree.
• 15+ years designing power distribution and lighting systems in complex facilities.
• Professional engineering registration is required.
• Proficient with RevIt MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks.

As an Electrical Senior Project Engineer in our Madisonoffice, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners and be responsible for the overall design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. In this role, you will also develop innovative and unique design solutions to align with project, client and project partner needs and leads the team in implementing solutions.

Expertise of our most successful Electrical Senior Project Engineer:

• BSEE/BSAE (or another engineering discipline) from an ABET accredited program.
• 15 years of experience designing power distribution and lighting building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• Professional engineering registration required.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
