Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for our San Francisco office to lead major building system projects and build strong client relationships.

You will guide engineering teams from concept through occupancy, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, PE registration, 10+ years in a consulting environment, and a proven record of managing complex healthcare, laboratory, or

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Professional engineering registration.
  • 10+ years in consulting environment designing building systems or leading design projects across MEP disciplines.
  • Successful management of large and complex projects for healthcare, laboratory, infrastructure, higher education, industrial, or R&D facilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership on projects and with staff.
  • Long history of very satisfied clients.

As a Electrical Project Managerin our San Francisco office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

In this role, you will lead major projects, develop client relationships, deliver projects according to client needs and budget, lead concept development of building systems, and guide a team of engineers from project conception though occupancy. You will also participate in project interviews, providing high-level client service, establishing long-term partnerships, keeping abreast of market trends, and ensuring resolution of all technical and service issues.

Expertise of our most successful Project Manager:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Professional engineering registration.
  • 10+ years in consulting environment designing building systems or leading design projects across MEP disciplines.
  • Successful management of large and complex projects for sophisticated client’s healthcare, laboratory, infrastructure, higher education, industrial, or R&Dfacilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership on projects and with staff.
  • Long history of very satisfied clients.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $145,000 to $200,000
