Job summary

Knobelsdorff is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize electrical systems for turnkey projects in Minnesota. You will collaborate with project teams, review designs for constructability, and support procurement and construction from start to finish.

The role requires 3-5 years in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelor's degree, and strong communication. A valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in Electrical Engineering or equivalent design/constructability experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent education/experience.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must be self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in KE business strategies.
• Entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and accountability for project decisions.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with safe driving history.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on projects while managing timelines to align with schedules and construction needs.
• Review designs for constructability and coordinate updates to ensure construction success.
• Provide direct technical support from design through procurement and construction for equipment, materials, execution, and maintenance.
• Engage with internal teams and external customers, engineers, and partners to support electrical system design and execution.
• Travel to site as needed to support project execution and coordination.
• Ensure installations meet standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical system docs and drawings.
