Knobelsdorff Enterprises in Minnesota seeks an Electrical Designer/Drafter to develop, maintain, and coordinate electrical design deliverables for renewable energy projects, collaborating with engineering, preconstruction, construction, and project teams.

The role focuses on 2D/3D modeling, installation details, wire routing, material takeoffs, and ensuring accuracy, alignment with standards, and constructibility from design through field execution.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• AAS Degree/Diploma in Design/Drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• 1+ year of relevant experience Electrical drafting.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit for Electrical Design.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and maintenance of electrical design drawings and construction documents for assigned projects.
• Coordinate design deliverables with engineering, preconstruction, project management, procurement, and construction teams.
• Develop and maintain 2D and 3D models of electrical equipment, systems, and site layouts.
• Develop project-specific installation details, equipment layouts, wire routing plans, and construction documentation.
• Develop and maintain project-specific material takeoffs, conduit schedules, and conductor schedules.
• Support development of wire precut packages with routing information and termination data.
• Utilize approved assembly standards and bill of material definitions in design deliverables.
• Reconcile design documents with field conditions and support as-built documentation.
• Support field teams through design clarification and layout coordination.
• Identify design conflicts and escalate to project stakeholders.
