Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. seeks an accountable Project Engineer to lead electrical engineering across projects. You will schedule, plan, forecast, and manage technical activities from conception to completion, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities include designing control systems, selecting components, prototyping, testing, and coordinating with managers/teams. Must meet NEC/UL/IEC/IEEE standards and reside in the Houston area.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSEE or equivalent; 10+ years of electrical engineering experience required
• 3+ years in electrical equipment manufacturing
• 3+ years in electrical engineering principles, circuits, and systems
• 3+ years in NEC, UL, IEC, and IEEE standards
• 3+ years using AutoCAD, EPLAN, and electrical design tools
• Must live in greater Houston area

Responsibilities

• Design electrical/control systems including schematics, diagrams, and layouts
• Select components and generate BOM for SWBD, MCC, panelboard, VFD, ATS, and other panels
• Prototype, test, and troubleshoot systems for performance and reliability
• Plan and coordinate electrical requirements with project teams
• Ensure designs comply with NEC/UL/IEC/IEEE and safety guidelines
• Prepare design docs, reports, and progress updates
