Job summary

W-Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and support control panels for energy and industrial equipment. You will work with manufacturing, engineering, and field operations on new and ongoing projects.

Responsibilities include design load calculations, interconnection schematics, wiring diagrams, test documentation, and site visits. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least two years of related experience, plus NEC/IEC awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university (required).
• Minimum 2 years of practical electrical engineering experience (required).
• Familiarity with electrical control panel design, testing and inspection is desired.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or IEC standards preferred.
• Proficiency with AUTOCAD, ePlan and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design of manufacturing and operation of company equipment.
• Provide technical support between manufacturing, engineering, and field operations.
• Perform design load calculations and create interconnection schematics, wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
• Support project documentation such as Factory Acceptance Test documentation and field commissioning procedures.
• Provide technical support throughout the project life cycle.
• Support NEC/IEC inspections for skid and panel assemblies.
• Support field commissioning activities with service technicians.
• Participate in site visits to identify and solve engineering/design RFIs.
• Ensure all required testing documentation is completed and signed.
