Job summary

The Weitz Company / Contrack Watts, Inc. is hiring a Project Engineer for EPI Power, LLC to support planning, buyout, management and closeout on data-center electrical construction projects.

Travel and relocation may be required as project needs dictate; you will assist with monitoring schedules, budgets and coordination with VDC, procurement and field teams. We seek candidates with 1–2 years in a Project Engineer role or related internship, strong communication and analytical skills, and

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a Project Engineer role or related internship.
• Engineering degree is a plus.
• LEAN principles experience desirable.
• Knowledge of NEC code is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs and project scope.
• Coordinate with VDC team and review BIM/shop drawings.
• Assist with submittals and tracking.
• Support procurement and material tracking.
• Participate in coordination and project meetings.
• Maintain engineering logs and documentation.
• Coordinate with field, engineering, procurement and VDC teams.
• Issue and track RFIs and assist with MTOs.
• Support engineering deliverables like cable and panel schedules.
