Job summary

EPITEC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support critical infrastructure projects across data centers and manufacturing plant rooms. You’ll review designs, understand electrical diagrams, and help drive projects with cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on UPS systems, power distribution, cabling, and facility power systems. It emphasizes coordination with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams, and involves documentation and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and one-line diagrams.
• Familiarity with UPS systems and critical power infrastructure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams to understand design and power flow.
• Support data center and facility infrastructure projects involving UPS, power distribution equipment, and related infrastructure.
• Work with vendors to review proposals, information requests, and equipment selection.
• Participate in discussions on electrical capacity, cabling, power distribution, and infrastructure design.
• Assist with development and management of RFQs, PO s, SOWs, and project documentation.
• Evaluate vendor recommendations and communicate technical requirements clearly.
• Track deliverables, schedules, risks, and action items to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate with engineering, facilities, operations, and vendor teams during execution.
• Prepare project updates, status reports, meeting notes, and supporting docs.
• Support issue resolution by coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.
• Utilize Jira or similar tools to track work and progress.
