Job summary

System One in Denver, Colorado is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead combustion turbine projects on a 12-month contract. This hybrid role requires onsite presence based on project needs, with per diem for travelers.

Responsibilities include reviewing RFIs and submittals, providing engineering oversight during turbine installation, coordinating with EPCs and internal teams, and supporting commissioning.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Combustion turbine experience required; turbine-specific work should be shown on resume.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, and technical docs.
• PE or EIT certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve electrical RFIs, questions, and submittals.
• Provide electrical oversight during combustion turbine installation and construction.
• Review drawings, specifications, studies, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot field installation issues and design conflicts.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, construction managers, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Ensure construction aligns with approved designs and project requirements.
• Support commissioning and startup activities as projects progress.
• Serve as electrical technical lead for project-related matters.
• Provide technical support throughout construction and execution.
